Faworki – “Angel’s wings”

INGREDIENTS:
20 dkg flour
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of oil
3 egg yolks
A pinch of salt
3-4 tablespoons of cream
1 tablespoon of spirit
Fat for frying

MAKE:
Mix flour with cream, make a well, add egg yolks, salt, powdered sugar, oil. Mix all the ingredients together, then knead the dough into a smooth mass. The dough should have the density of noodle dough. Roll out the dough in batches quite thinly, trying to dust with flour as little as possible. Cut with a knurl or knife into strips 3 cm wide and 10 cm long. Cut each strip lengthwise in the middle for a space of 5-6 cm and reroll. Put such prepared faworki on heated fat and fry on both sides until light golden brown, turning with a fork. Remove, drain on blotting paper, transfer to a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
