Beetroot – chocolate cake

This cake has reigned supreme in my kitchen lately. It is delicious, moist and tastes amazing with mandarin tea 🙂

INGREDIENTS:

5 eggs at room temperature

1 and 1/4 cup of sugar

3/4 cup of oil

1.5 cups of wheat flour

4 tablespoons of cocoa

2 spoons of baking powder

200-300 g of boiled beets.

All ingredients should be at room temperature! Peel the cooked beetroots and blend them into a puree. Sift wheat flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and mix. Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy, pour the oil in a trickle, and then add the blended beetroot. Finally, add the dry ingredients. Mix for a short time at the lowest speed. Put the dough prepared in this way into a 30 cm long baking pan, greased with butter and sprinkled with semolina. “Dry stick". Baked, remove and leave to cool.
